Then suddenly one day your mp3 player won't boot up and it's giving you an error message saying that you need to either "Clean", "Reset", or "Reformat" the device.
You tried all the steps, but none worked.
Well you can try this steps:
1. You can google the firmware version of the Creative Zen that you have.
Usually it's 1.03.04.
2. Then download the firmware on your computer.
3. Execute the file > follow the onscreen instructions.
4. Connect the mp3 if you're asked to.
5. Then you're good to go.
The reason why the mp3's firmware got corrupted is because of excessive heat, and unstable firmware version.
I suggest after reloading the missing firmware, update the firmware of the device to much stable version or to the latest version.
